Typos happen can happen to anyone.
My editor is not configured to add line breaks, but I could have accidentally mistyped a character in the header.
I have double checked those files, and as you can see on the links in the other e-mail, they look identical. I also retested them on PoEdit and they all validate.
Maybe the issue is the commit branched moments before you made the commit and the file was not found. But I am just guessing from the data on DamnedLies. No experience on git, yet.

Makes sense. I will adopt these recommendations from now on.
I had a complain about the build failing related to the pt-PT
files but the files validate on PoEdit and on DamnedLies.

I would like to avoid that situation in the future, but I am not
sure I can do anything differently to avoid it. Any ideas?
Th PO file is ok, don't worry about it.
The build issue was introduced by a unintentional new line introduced by my text editor to the file help/Makefile.am. In order to activate the translation of the help files for a language, its language code (e.g. pt) must be listed in a single line in the HELP_LINGUAS variable. With a new line, unexpected text was found, breaking the compilation -- which definitely is not desired.
So, in order to avoid issues like this, one should always pay attention to changes to repository before committing (git diff) and/or review the commit before pushing (git diff HEAD^). And disable automatic-adding-newline-like features.
Best Regards,
Rafael Fontenelle
