Hi guys,
As you might have noticed, GNOME apps are getting nice new shortcut
help windows [1]. I'm a bit concerned about translating these: strings
from help overlays are getting mixed with other strings in an app, and
I need to use different forms. For example, in a menu I'd use the
imperative form of "Quit", while in the help I'd have the verbal noun
- both as translations of the same original string.
Is this something that affects other languages as well? I'd like to
ask the developers to add context (i.e. attribute 'context="shortcut
window"' in .ui files) to strings in these windows, and to add it as a
requirement to the GNOME Goal.
