Re: New team for Marathi (mr)



Hi,

As in the case of Marathi, many of us don't use the l10n.gnome.org/languages for  translations. So most of the modules is being shown as in 'inactive' status. As we do work directly with git, in terms of activity, I wish there should be some link between module listed l10n.gnome/languages and its git repository. This will surely avoid situation like this.

Before we appoint you as the new coordinator, please, could you send
this exact mail but CC'ing the current, supposedly inactive,
coordinator? So that we let him a chance to actually say something?

Priorly, I have committed translations for various GNOME releases and try to maintain translation status (User Interface) for Marathi language with at least 80 percent. Please, see the commit log for more details.

If in a week or so he hasn't replied, reply again to that message and we

I know this could seem that can take a long time, but keep in mind that
you can register and translate as much as you want and attach your
translations on the modules.

Later, when you get the coordinator status (or if the current
coordinator replies) we will upload the translations right away.
