Hi,

You only need to switch between branches when a module has changed, i.e.
evolution-data-server has already changed it's main branch [1][2].

To do so, open a terminal, place yourself on e-d-s git repository folder
and then just type:

git checkout -t origin/gnome-3-0

git will tell you that you have created a local branch that tracks the
origin one and then you can commit right away :)

Until the last day ... well, normally maintainers create their final
tarball one or two days before the final day, but don't stop on that,
3.0.1 will come along some weeks later and you will surely want to have
your coverage improved ;)
