As a translator for these modules, I always wondered why glib/gtk+ gets
released so much earlier than the rest of the GNOME modules. String
freeze for GNOME 2.24 starts on September 1st and gtk/glib get stable
releases by the end of August? This is not very encouraging for
translators...

We (the Romanian translators) were thinking of doing a major change and
that is to migrate to commabelow diacritics in all the Romanian PO files
in GNOME. But heck, I have yet to build a testing environment for GNOME
2.23.90, I'm still fighting with GARNOME. Now I should hurry to blindly
update the Romanian translation for the major gtk/glib modules until
the end of the month if we want to get something done in time for GNOME
2.24?

Thanks,
