The Translation Project works in a way that gives the maintainer of
the package full control over when, and if, an updated translation
should be put into the repository. IIRC updated translations that have
been processed by the robot are then in turn mailed to the maintainer.
The maintainer then integrates the updated translation into the
project when he or she has time to do so.
So it may very well be that both Damned Lies and the Translation
Project status are correct, because they show the status of different
things. Damned Lies shows the status of the latest translation in the
project's actual repository, whereas the TP status shows the status of
the latest translation that has been processed by the TP Robot (which
is not necessarily the same as the former).

If both statuses differ for a longer period of time, I think you
should probably try to contact the project's maintainer and notify
him/her of the need to integrate the updates from the TP.
