Well, yelp only shows the table of contents. The introductory
texts for the release-notes.xml page are lost. The same happens
to C/release-notes.xml, too. So, I still can't check what g-d-u
actually does. :-/

Umm.. I should have said that I had also checked that page
before posting. Yes, the same problem occurs there, too.
(You can see such added texts from
  http://gnome.org/start/2.14/notes/C/
as well.)
