I was hoping that with reminding people of this, this would become less
of a problem in the future, so that we would not need to have automatic
fixing scripts directly on the cvs server, something that the current
cvs server probably wouldn't cope of handling anyway.
Also, Carlos is adding checks for executable po files to the translation
status pages scripts, so those will spew out the appropriate warnings in
the future if executable po files are added.

Possibly so. But then people need to not use broken clients.
