A good idea, I think. However, I think this pretty much assumes that you
already have a web server that you can point to. I suspect that we don't
have the resources to host all language teams on the gnome.org server. 

However, if you already have control over a web server, asking the
gnome.org sysadmins for a redirection or cname should be no problem. In
any case, you need to discuss this with the gnome.org sysadmins.
