Preferrably, yes. Or if he has gnome cvs commit access, update it directly
(see below).

There is a directory called "extra-po" in the gnome-i18n module for this
purpose, yes.

We can move all translations from the xscreensaver module there (in an
"xscreensaver" subdirectory) if it's okay with you.
