Hi Pablo,

The strings *are* translated.

This is an old bug in gnome-libs, where the strings under a sub locale
are never displayed for .desktop and .directory files. I guess pt_BR is
the only locale visibly affected.

The guys at Conectiva have patched the problem, so normally people in
Brazil don't complain about it. I've heard the Conectiva patch was
refused by the gnome-libs maintainers, so I suppose it wasn't a good fix
after all. I'm not sure about the whole situation though, maybe someone
else can clarify it.
