Re: Gnome is off in Brazil

   Hello!

I would also like to get payed by translating. But I'm not. And if I was,
I'm sure it wouldn't be as much as I'm payed as a consultant.
Unfortunatelly, consulting takes much of my spare time... :(

Anyway, I've been trying to update pt (not Iberic Portuguese... Just
Portuguese... Portugal has the main language and Brazilians speak portuguse.
Like England has english and US, Australia, etc. speak english).

I've got pt translations from 12% (stable) into 49% in less than 2 months. I
hope to get 100% in another 2 months or less.

Anyway, I'm interested in knowing how I can merge the pot files (using
msgmerge?). I would like to get my stable translations and use them to
update the gnome2.0 branch (and then tweak the updates, as some pot files
are slightly different).

By the way... I hate trolls. And I like people that like to work and are
committed. I hope I haven't offended any Brazilian with the "Iberic
Portuguese" explanation. I hope the troll starts working on the pt_BR
translations or shuts up. :)

By the way... We could do a healthy un-official competition to see with pt*
gets 100% first in each branch... Although you have a good head start, it
would be fun and, in the end, the winners would always be Gnome, GNU/Linux
and the whole portuguese speaking users (from Portugal, Brazil, Angola,
Mozambique, Sao Tome e Princepe, etc...) ;)

Have fun translating! As you don't get payed, having fun is your only
chance! heheheh
