gnome-applets/gnotes/ can only show iso-8859-7 (afaik)

The GNotes application looks (to me) that it can show text in iso-8859-7
only.
I did not find any visible reference in the code of setting the
font. This makes it a bit difficult to use in non-iso-8859-1 languages.
