Hi!

It seems, that you already have everything configured right for the
euro. That you don't get the euro-symbol probably is because your gtk+
font isn't a ISO-8859-15 font. Go to the Gtk-Themes-Dialog in the
gnomecontrol center, there select use own font and choose a ISO-8859-15
font.
This isn't workin for abiword, though... Don't know how it works there,
sorry...
