Re: Update on Localisation Style Guides and Glossaries

Hi Rebecca and All

The work involved in cleaning up the English is follows

* Tidy it up and remove any unnecessary terms, particularly duplicate
lower case terms. We currently have approx. 5,000 terms and I think it
is possible to reduce the number of terms to 3,000 terms by removing
unwanted terms, duplicated terms etc.

* Add in speech information where necessary (adj, n, v etc.)

* Insert a definition for each term.

Michael Twomey will attach the spreadsheet via an e-mail, can you or
someone take the files and place them under the Gnome CVS tree and to
place them in an appropriate place on the Gnome web site?. Then they
will be available for people to start working to clean them.

Thanks for your help.
Aoife
