I don't think we should encourage the idea that gnomedesktop.org is a
good place to contact developers, or a good way for developers to get
representative feedback from users. So far it has not been, and there
isn't any sign that it ever will be.
I think gnomedesktop.org, and even it's comments, are mostly an
advertisting exercise.
