I'm thinking actually, that the diary thing could be used for gnome
"core" package releases. By core I mean the packages that were part of
gnome 1.4 (gnome-core, gnome-applets, gnome-media etc...). That way
there'd be a "Recently updated" column of main packages that people
probably should update.

Diaries would be disabled for everyone else.
I'm also not sure about the ratings, but I suppose it could be fixed, so
certain people were masters and everyone else was just blank.
