All I'm saying is that we shouldn't dismiss the portion of our (future)
users who want to Just Use It and don't want to tinker with anything. For
example, I know I'm in this category when it comes to Linux kernels: I
have a very strict don't-fix-it-if-it's-not-broken policy, since I
couldn't care less about my underlying kernel (and thus I'm still using
Linux 2.2.19+ext3). I'm sure there are others who feel the same way about
their desktop.
