	Things might have changed, but is the DOM used successfully in any
non-web browser ? I remember it being mooted ( I think ) as a global
document module solution to every problem, did that happen or not ?

	Also; it seems to me there is a world of difference between providing
an interface that complies with the spec, and actually storing the data
using that object model.

	What's the story these days ? and why do we need DOMness ?
