Hi guys,
Since everyone was just talking about how easy or difficult to compile
things are, I spent almost this whole night creating some
gnome-libs-one-big-thing-1.96.0.tar.gz
I should have renamed a random file in that tarball and have you figure
out which when distchecking it. This way you would have noticed how much
pain it is to distcheck such a large thing.
So here are new tarballs and I'll let the old ones up since I don't really
like the new ones. This is just to proof that with small tarballs, you can
still have one big one:
ftp://ftp.home-of-linux.org/private/gnome-2-martin/test/
The old tarballs are still in
ftp://ftp.home-of-linux.org/private/gnome-2-martin/
You should download
ftp://ftp.home-of-linux.org/private/gnome-2-martin/test/einstein-cvsroot.tgz
instead of the tarballs so that you see how things are done and how nicely
stuff will work even with the current setup which we have in GNOME CVS.
Add this line to the modules file:
(ftp://ftp.home-of-linux.org/private/gnome-2-martin/cvsroot/modules):
gnome-libs-package gnome-libs-package &libgnome-2 &libbonobo-2 &libgnomecanvas-2 &libgnomeui-2 &libbonoboui-2
