Not bad.  Nevertheless, be prepare weird things will easily happen this
way: es.po from gnome-libs will be checked in as es.po for gnome-core...
What about branches?

    a) Please, "force" the translator to add a ChangeLog like entry,
    too.

    b) Not every "native" speaker qualifies per se to do translations!
    At least for so called core modules he/she has to become a team
    member first etc. pp.
