Do you have _value in your /gnome/share/oaf/Nautilus_View_sidebar-loser.oaf ? 
If not, something funny must be going on, if so, this may be an
XML-i18n-tools bug. BTW, where can I get xmllint? It would be cool to
run it on .oaf and other XML files at install time. :-)
