64-bit Libraries [Was Re: Gnome 1.4 / Linux 2.4.x]

Hi,

Given that this topic has been raised I just thought I'd let you know that 
myself and Michael Myburgh in Sun Ireland are currently 64-bit cleaning certain 
of the Gnome libraries.  

Work is just beginning but over the coming weeks we hope to resolve issues with 
the following libraries:

	glib
	gdk
	gtk
	gnome-libs
	ORBit & associated libraries
	popt
	oaf
	bonobo
	libz
	imlib
	gnome-xml
	gconf
	audiofile
	esound
