Suggestion for a GTK+ widget: Filebox.

A Filebox is like a regular single-line text-entry widget, but
specially for entering filenames, for those times when you want to
enter a filename but don't need a file-selector dialog. I'm thinking
specifically here of gnome-find, which has an entry-box for the
directory, but it doesn't do auto-completion.

Perhaps the "Filebox" widget could be defined as a text-entry widget,
followed by a "Browse..." button that pulls up a file-selector widget.
The widget should have whatever auto-completion style we choose, and
should complete all paths as though $HOME is the current working
directory.

There should probably also be a "Folderbox" widget that only completes
foldernames, and ignores filenames, and whose "Browse" button pops up
a folder-selector dialog that doesn't even let you *think* about
choosing a file.
