This is part of why I once suggested that we have keybinding profiles in the
control centre and that such 'standard' things to bind keys to as
LEFT/RIGHT, word-at-a-time, beginning of line, etc. all simply be named in
Gnome software, instead of being queried directly.

if (keypress == GNOME_KEY_LEFT) move_cursor_left();

You get the idea.
