Oops, I meant COMMAND key, not Meta key...

Operations such as Open, Save, Print (see my original posting) should be
bound to Ctrl, while Menu navigation and access should be bound to Meta.

Applications should be able to override all these keys, so it shouldn't be
much of a problem anyway...
