Sticky Keys

The flow of responses to cluehunting is quite nice, definite evidence that
the "general public" can have some damn good ideas even if they DON'T want
to subscribe to GNOME-GUI.

Another reason to avoid multiple modifier
keys is that people who have lost the use of one hand will have a very
difficult time pressing two modifier keys while hitting a third key on
the keyboard. I know, I had my wrist in cast for a while and had to
type one handed. (Fortunately, emacs has a sticky modifier key mode
where you don't have to hold the modifier key down, just hit it to
activate it or hit it again to deactivate it. Possible future
proposal for Gnome.)
