Somewhat off topic: one reason no one documents Gdk is that it's pretty
much exactly the same as Xlib, so you can just read the man page for the
equivalent Xlib function, or a book on Xlib. If you're going low-level and
using Gdk then presumably you have to know something about X anyway.
So documenting Gtk and Gnome is much more important, IMHO and apparently
in the opinion of those writing docs as well.
