Now this is innovative !  I'd suggest to go for
About Help | Prefs, though (just other order)

Also, how about having a section w/ services provided by
other tools which are useful in this context, such as:

Well, I don't think having a "Session"/Application menu
is self-contradictiory or inconsistent, but maybe I'm missing
something.

Ideally, KDE, LIP, fOX apps could use this menu as well,
just replace the "shameless plug"-icon by the resp.
environment's counterpart.
