Thanks a lot for your help, now it's usable. I've found a few issues:
- the mouse cursor changes its size between programs (i.e. it's ok in the desktop but very small in firefox even if lunched from the panel internet tab)
- with the GDK_SCALE=1 gnome-panel command the panel is very small but GDK_SCALE=2 gnome-panel it's too big and goes beyond the desktop area
As for the patch I think that I should be able to recompile it. I have downloaded the sources just now so I don't really know your codebase but I'm a Computer Science student with a bit of experience in open source developing so I'd also like to contribute to the project where and when I can (unfortunately I don't have a lot of free time lately) if possible.

Because of that I keep gnome-terminal open "forever" so I can start most apps from it. If you know how to re-build gnome-panel I might prepare small patch.GDK_SCALE=1 gnome-panel --replace &But gnome-panel is not ready for this (you will see why)... To "fix" this I am restarting gnome-panel with this command:gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface scaling-factor 2Hi,you probably want/need this:Feel free to open bug for this and/or any other bugs/problems that you find in GNOME Flashback. On Fri, Aug 12, 2016 at 1:03 PM, Francesco Wofford <francescowofford gmail com> wrote:______________________________FrancescoHi guys I use gnome flashback and I appreciate the work you're doing. Recently I've bought a 4k monitor but I can't find a way to enlarge the icons and toolbars (they apper a way too small in 4k), is there a way to do that?Thanks,_________________
