Did you read example under server address field?

On mate there is extra field for connection type so you can enter only ip address, but in gnome-flashback you need enter type in server address field:

ftp://127.0.0.1

sftp://127.0.0.1

not
127.0.0.1

I'm familiar with the Mate "Connect to Server" window and am able to connect to my server using the ip address of my server. Under Gnome Flashback the "Connect to Server" window looks different and will not except my server's ip address.
