Hi Eugene, Albert, and other Gnome Flashback devs

WRT Gnome bug 731173

Which is also this bug:

I am *hoping* to get the patch that fixes this bug into GNOME 3.15.x,
and in Debian Jessie. Jessie's freeze is on Nov 5th. If I could get a
fix into GNOME 3.14.2 (Nov 10), that would be great too.

It looks like Albert originally wrote the patch, but then Eugene
greatly improved it for this update to Eugene's PPA on 2014-09-23:

Eugene's comment about this update:

I've attached the version of the patch from that update.

Shouldn't we post the new version to the GNOME bug?

No. They are not going to hardcode checking for fallback and/or flashback sessions. My second patch probably should be updated - it does not disable acceleration check, but simply will ignore result. And it is all we need from gnome-session.

Right now, I am attempting to build GNOME 3.15.x with jhbuild on
Ubuntu 14.04 in order to verify that the patch still works with GNOME
GNOME 3.15.x. I figure that doing so is necessary to get the patch
included in GNOME 3.15.x. I also figure that it would be easier to get
Debian to accept the patch if GNOME includes it upstream, even though
Jessie uses gnome-session 3.14.0.
