Philipp, please release 3.8.1!

merge-gnome-applets branch probably is ready for merging into master. Also license issue is NOT issue. Why?

Seems LGPL license has been added by mistake. In bug report and also in commit message it is clearly wrote that it is GPL license not LGPL.

gweather applet comments states it is GPL and was referring to gnome-applets COPYING file. So it is more likely that wrong file was added.
