QUESTION to Ubuntu downstreams: You were the only ones that seemed
interested in getting a gnome-panel 3.10 release done. Is anybody still
interested in creating a backport for this in trusty, and seeing it
through to completions ?

We (both Debian and Ubuntu) are still interested in 3.10 release.

OK, let's aim at a (short) 3.10 cycle then.

I can do a backport for Trusty, but it won't be included in
trusty-updates (it will be available in either trusty-backports or in
a PPA).

OK, I'll leave that part to you then.

Note that I will have a very terrible Internet connection until 26th
of July. The only time I will be able to do *anything* before that is
this weekend, 12-13.

No worries. Did you happen to test the current state of the 3.8 branch
on said weekend ?

I'm also looking for help to conduct a proper code review round on all
the work in master. Please check the CSV file, if the split of patches
into feature branches makes sense. Then I will publish proper RFCs for
each branch on this ML¹, and am hoping the other devs / downstreams will
help me to review this work.

Still current.

Cheers
  Philipp
