These icons are for the offline/disconnected states for mobile broadband, wired and wireless networks. The main places these are exposed are in the control center's network panel, the shell top bar, and the shell system status menu. A before and after image of the icons is attached (it's a bit hard to reproduce all the states in order to produce screenshots of them in use). Allan
