I don't know where I can find the video, so it's hard to check. But from
what I can see of the dark theme before the fixes, I'd be tempted to
consider two options:

 - do not use the dark theme
 - accept the freeze break

Both cases would break the video, though. Is it available somewhere
online to see the impact a change would have?
