A few months ago I went through it all and move all the useful stuff to
either library.gnome.org or live.gnome.org, fixing links and adding
redirects. I then made sure that nothing actually links to
developer.gnome.org anymore, as you can see by the "Development" link on
http://www.gnome.org/ .
I tried not to delete the remaining stuff just in case, and on the
principle that old content should remain at the same old URLs. But I
really don't think it would be any great loss if everything at
developer.gnome.org died.
We might want to redirect developer.gnome.org completely to
http://library.gnome.org/devel/ , if it doesn't cause confusion, just to
have an easier-to-remember URL.
