About the second one though, it seems a bit redundant. Modifying font reslutions was already addressed in another topic (see look-fonts-toobig.page) 

Also, regarding the last three topics, I'm not really well versed in font rendering, so I think I'll just leave those topics alone for now :)

Sorry for the delay in replying. It looks great (as usual!), so I've
committed this topic to the desktop-help branch [1]. I made a couple of
small modifications beforehand, which I've explained below.

I removed the image for now, because I think that we need to have
another think about what screenshot(s) would work best. Here's what I
came up with, but I'd appreciate other views on the matter: I anticipate
that users will have trouble visualising what the topic is about
("window buttons" is a vague term, and might have an ambiguous
interpretation), and might get lost in gconf-editor too.

For the former, I think a graphic showing *just* the window buttons
(i.e. a cropped window title bar) before and after an order change, with
an arrow denoting that a transition has occurred, would help, especially
if placed near the top of the topic. There's then an instant visual
representation of what the topic is about. What do you think? (I hope my
description made sense.)

For the latter, the look_windowbuttons_configuration_editor.png that you
sent through should work well, but I think it should be reduced in size
to only show the interesting parts of the window. This could be achieved
simply by by shrinking the window. Also, the mouse cursor shouldn't be
visible in the image.

Let me know what you think. I'll put the images into a "figures/"
subdirectory once we've settled on them.
