I've attached a couple of patches against trunk to fix the issues you mentioned, along with updated screenshots (target directory: gnome2-user-guide/C/figures). I didn't make the change you mentioned regarding the following, because I think both sentences are necessary: the first to introduce the subject and the second to inform the user when the message will be displayed. I'm completely open to suggestions for wording that whole paragraph better, though. You can leave a message for a user who has locked their screen [...] Your message will be displayed when the user unlocks their screen.
