I have a patch for gtk-doc
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=487727
that makes it work with newer docbook versions too. Also I don't like the way
the patch is done (probing for certain versions). I rather get the newest
version above a minimal required one.

Also I'd like that some people try the patch before releasing the change.
