Yes, do take a look at the pages on the wiki.
If you can work directly on DocBook, so much the
better, as I have a backlog of Daniel's edits to
convert!

It's not just the desktop guide. A lot of apps have
docs in sorry states, or none at all (eg gparted,
disk-admin).
We recently had posts on this list about new versions
of apps, eg Nautilus that now has integrated search.
This means docs need to be updated. But presumably, we
need someone who can build the latest version from
source, so they can actually use the new app?

BTW, I nearly deleted the initial message as spam --
the title 'My Introduction', and from a name I didn't
know, looked like a typical money fraud email. Could
this list be set up to add a prefix to subjects, eg
[gnome docs]? Most other gnome lists do this.
