Yet another GTK+ Hello World

Guys,

	After following the GTK+ 2.0 Tutorial I came across the following sound
advice (http://www.gtk.org/tutorial/ch-tips.html):

Use GNU autoconf and automake! They are your friends :)

While this is a very good advice, I could not find any instructions on
how to use autoconf and automake with GTK+. So, after doing a lot of
searching I came up with the following, hopefully useful tutorial that
deals with exactly this issue:

I'm in the process of writing the second part, dealing with adding
support for gettext. However if you find the first part useful (and
