(1) I tried to use the bug reporting tool bug-buddy, but it
insisted on getting a verions number for the product - how do I find that out?

(2) The bug in question is:

Using RedHat 9, when logged in as user1,
when I click on the main menu and select help, it produces a
screen containing the following:

Help Contents
GNOME - Desktop
Additional documents
Manual Pages
Info Pages

Yet when logged in as user2, doing the same thing 
produces a screen containing the following

Help Contents
GNOME - Desktop
Desktop
Applets
Applications
Utilities
Development
Games
Multimedia
Additional documents
System
Manual Pages
Info Pages

I can't imagine why this should be.

Incidentally, the feedback pages refer to a GNOME User Guide - how do 
I find this?
