Interesting markup question

Hey guys,
	I'm doing the Gnumeric documentation.  For the function reference, I
would like to have the index look like the following:

fuct_name - Short description

An example is as follows:

sum - Finds the sum of the specified fields

In an index listing, how would I do that?  I can't find how to do the
short description part.
