docs changes for GNOME 2

Folks -

I've put together a quick overview of the changes required for our
documentation for GNOME 2:

It's quite preliminary, and full of FIXME's, based on the "release
early and often" philosophy. What else should be in there? Any other
traps people have noticed in converting to XML? Other issues that have
come up in our rather scattered discussions that need to be included?

I'm posting this now even though it's a bit ragged because developers
are beginning to port their apps to GNOME 2, and there are 7 weeks
until the beta release, so it's important that we start looking over
our docs and figuring out what needs to be done.
