I have found some errors:

1) In the section "A First Glance At GNOME," the second paragraph says,
"for example, the clock applet on the far right shows the current time."
The clock applet is on the far left side of the panel in the figure shown.

2) This really isn't a show stopper, but in the section "A First Glance At
GNOME", the third paragraph says, "you'll see a menu of pre-loaded
applications and actions."  It might be better if you replace actions with
options.

3) In the section "A First Glance At GNOME," the first paragraph doesn't
have "Figure 2-1" in italics.  Is the right markup used here?  It would
suggest the same markup isn't used for both in the first and second
paragraphs.

4) In the section "About Window Managers," you say E is the only fully
compliant WM.  I've always thought Sawmill is fully complaint with GNOME
too.

5) In the section "A First Glance At GNOME," you don't have a link to the
figure and use the convention "Figure 2-1."  In the section "Introduction
to Panel Objects," you have a link to the figure and refer to it as,
"Figure 1."  Please be consistent.

6) In the section "A First Glance At GNOME," the text "Main Menu Button"
isn't bold which suggests the markup isn't <guibutton>.

7) You should use the most recent version of the FDL's markup in CVS (I
just changed it).

8) I think you should mention in the section "Mounting and unmounting
drives," something that you don't need to mount an audio CD.  I, just
recently, figured this out.

9) I'm just curious why you left out the explanation about the different
states in the Session Properties section?

These are some comments.  It looks nice.  Unfortunately, I'll be out of
touch for a couple of days, hopefully not longer.
