As promissed, the announcement of my `db2x' script:

You'll find version 0.7 at:

    http://www.franken.de/users/gnu/ke/docbook-tools/

Provided formats are .tar.gz, .rpm, and .src.rpm.  Now it can do
`db2xml'.

Only tested on SuSE Linux 6.3 (i386)¹.  To use it, you've to install most
of the packages from software serie "sgm"; at least, these packages are
needed:

tux@earth: > rpm -q --requires docbktls
jade_dsl  
docbk30  
iso_ent  
docbkdsl  
/bin/bash  

To produce PS or PDF, please install jadetex and depending packages from
serie "tex".

Have a lot of fun...
