panel docs - general questions

Hi, guys:
i started to write docs for the panel and have some general
questions. namely: 

- should we describe in panel docs "create appl. launcher" dialog?
  This dialog also appears in other places (say, menu editor, or
  desktop-right-click|new|launcher). Any ideas on where to put its
  description and how to link from all these docs to it?

- what about "general preferences" for panels? They launch
  appropriate control-center applet; so should we describe them in
  c.c. docs or in panel docs? Blah - what do you say?

On a related note: i think that description of main menu and logout
dialog belong to the panel docs - if someone can think of another
place, let me know.
