I've got the .DEB's covered.  As soon as the release happens I can have
them up on my repository ASAP which, dependeing on what time and day
they are released can mean an hour to a couple of days.  If we do make
an anouncment and post it to gnomedesktop.org I would ask that there be
a mention of the respository so the people using the Anjuta2 CVS debs
know that they should be transitioning to the Scaffold release debs. 
Also some of the points that I outlined in my first request for the
renaming might be a good starting point for explaining why the rename
was a good thing.  I can resend that to you if you wish.  I can't wait
to see the first release.
