I'm monitoring the Gnome dev tools list since a while,
and I thank you Christian, for having taken this very nice initiative.
Good job, like usual ;)

I'm part of the Anjuta team, and your mail didn't reached the
anjuta-devel list yet, but I can tell you Naba (Kumar) is currently
writing a draft of the future Anjuta architecture, including cooperation
with other tools, medium/long term plans, ... etc

I think he's still lacking some days to finish it, so please be
patient...
